Distress Centre Niagara is a non-profit charitable organization providing 24-hour emotional support and crisis intervention by telephone to anyone in need in the Niagara Region. Distress Centre has been providing this free, confidential service for over 40 years. In 2010, 10, 507 calls were received.
Annual Suicide Walk
The date of the Walk is Sunday September 11, 2011 at Grantham Lions Club, 732 Niagara Street, St. Catharines, ON.
6th Annual Euchre Tournament
Distress Centre Niagara will be hosting its 6th Annual Euchre Tournament on Saturday March 24, 2012 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24, 111 Chruch St., St. Catharines. Doors open at 6:00pm with the games beginning at 7:00pm. Tickets are $15.00 each and include door prizes, tournament prizes, silent auction and an intermission buffet.
